Tucumcari Rawhide Days 2020 Press Release

 

     Head ‘em up and Move ‘em out to Tucumcari’s 5th Annual Rawhide Days; geared up for May 1 & 2.  A full agenda of excitement, fun and family-filled events are on tap for everyone. 

 

     Rawhide Days includes the 3rd Annual Iron Man Ranch Horse Challenge.  Prizes and prize money go to the Top Hand, Top Horse and Top Teams.  21 teams limit this exciting event.  Contact Tj at 575-403-7274 for more information to participate with some of the best cowboys.

  

   The famous Chain Ranch Longhorns lead the way to event central at the Quay County Fairgrounds traveling down the Historical Route 66 on Saturday morning.

   

   Special guests, sons and daughters of the Legends of Rawhide TV series, will be in attendance.  You don’t want to miss their autograph and visit.  Learn more about the famous Sheb Wooley aka Pete Nolan, Paul Brinegar aka Wishbone, Clint Eastwood aka Rowdy Yates.

 

     There will be an old fashioned musical jamboree with admission only $5 per person on Friday night.  Saturday night will be world famous Hyram Posey, Lonnie Spiker and The Swangers with Bob Wills rendition of favorites.  Enjoy the concert and your dancing pleasure at the Convention Center; tickets only $30 and can be bought on-line @ tucumcarirawhidedays.com or from any Tucumcari Rawhide Days board member; tickets at the door $35.

   

   Other fun events include our petting zoo, food vendors, chuck wagon meals, wares by many hobby/craft/collectors, western clothing, real western gun-fights, trick roping, wagon-carriage rides, petting longhorns and much, much more.
